About John
John Meyer is an emerging creative on the prairie of South Dakota. John is an avid blogger and Chief Creative Officer at 9 Clouds, Inc. John loves connecting with people both online and in person. He’s always looking for the next big idea or a new project to start.
John has always been an entrepreneur starting his first business in his college dorm room at the age of 22. While learning the ways of a business owner, John became the first employee of another startup company, Blue Brain Consulting, a small firm that specializes in search engine marketing.
After college John worked as a management consultant for Accenture in Minneapolis. In June of 2009, John started his own company, 9 Clouds, Inc., a social marketing firm based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. 9 Clouds specializes in connecting businesses with their customers using the Internet. John knows how to deliver value to his clients or collaborators with experience in all areas of online marketing, branding, monitoring, market research, and social media.
When not working online John is often spending his free time online. He authors a Minnesota Twins blog at www.TwinsMVB.com, writes for an entrepreneur and technology news source from Omaha, Nebraska, www.SiliconPrairieNews.com, crowdsourced his NHL fanhood at pickmyNHLteam.com, and is the founder of Brookings Blogs, a networking group of bloggers from his hometown of Brookings, South Dakota.
